unfortunately, there was a water valve break on our street and our water was out all evening (insert grumpy momma noise), but luckily there were some trucks and diggers that the city of olean sent to our rescue! we went outside and looked at them for awhile, then stood in the bay window, then to von's room to stand on the stool, and finally to mom & dad's room to peek even more .. basically, any window with a truck view was visited a plethora of times.
von was in his glory, and that made the whole no-water situation much better for me :)
