FINALLY!!
it was january when we last saw andrea & michael, and since then, gavin and von have entered the world and changed our lives forever :)
we had a great visit - the waitress thought they were twins (hmmmm, 6 months vs almost 6 weeks??) - and promise to do it again soon!!!

come on missa & phil and/or anna & mark, we clearly need another to complete the 3 stooges, wink wink

and cant forget our other 'children': marley, mauka, and ollie

weekends are GREAT because daddy gets a break from cvs and gets to spend a lot of time with us! von LOVES it!

2 quick things

so we've discovered two things:
1. von's color is navy - doesnt he look stunning in it?
2. his feet are adorable (although daddy said he looked like an old man wearing tube socks)

one month already??

another exciting event in the life of von:
he turned one month old!!! seeing as how he's such a big boy, he ventured into his crib for the first time and took a little catnap (look closely, beneath that blob of brown blanket is mr von).


von is also becoming a master of tummy time. he'll enjoy it for about 10 minutes then he's sure to let us know that he's done with that activity (insert screaming baby noise here, hehee)

dynda compound

we spent a lot of time at the dynda compound this week, but best of all, AUNT ASHLEY met von sawyer :)

busy bee

von has had yet another busy week. he enjoyed a mid-week visit with ma & pa, started loving his playmat and bouncer, sat at the dinner table (hehee), and yes, celebrated his 3 week mark on the world (hard to believe). he's all tuckered out, but looking forward to some quality time with mommy & daddy this weekend :)

the greats

von had an amazing weekend visiting his family in kittanning. we had a super fun picnic with aunts, uncles and close family friends. however, the two best things about our visit were spending time with family AND von was able to meet both his great grandparents!

wonderful wednesday

well von had a rather enjoyable day today.
it started off with 2 very rested parents (he was only up once last night!!!) and then a quick trip to his pediatrician for his 2 week check-up, which we might add he's weighing in at a whopping 7lb 12oz!
then he lounged boppy-side for quite some time.
then he made his footprint impression (thanks anna & mark!).
then he had his maiden swing voyage (success)!
then he enjoyed a nice evening stroll.
quite the happy, happy day for this 14 day old champ!!

when i grown up ...

well, after a few rocky days, we're baaaaaaaack :)
we have pondered what our lil von will become when he grows, and here are some possibilities:

zen master

jedi knight

hand model

psychiatrist (he's a good listener)

irregardless, he'll always be our adorable son and we LOVE him :)
the sky is the limit, von!
