von wore a monkey shirt today, so apparently that means he had to act like one ... which he did, and let me just tell you, he was too cute cute cute & funny. monkey lips, bubbles, noises - you name it, he did it :)

elm drive

we had a super duper weekend in kittanning with the steffy relatives. now for some highlights:

von had a special helper during his bath on saturday night - his cousin, emry! she helped josh with the bubbles and then me with the lotion. von loved it!





von also enjoyed some quality time with pa (the tickle monster) ...

this momma needs to take more pictures because she didnt capture nearly enough footage this weekend!

upon the recommendation of von's pediatrician, we have started cereal - and quite successfully, i might add! i was a little worried because he's totally a nursing boy and i thought he'd hate anything that had to do with a spoon feeding him. well i was wrong!! he gobbled down this new treat, and after just a few spoonfuls, von was playing 'baby bird', anxiously awaiting the next bite 'open mouth' style :)

introducing von's newest friend: the nuk.
seems like only yesterday his little soothie pacifier looked HUGE on his itty bitty face in the hospital, and now he's moving on to the big boy binki (cousin haydn would be proud)!
seriously, 4 months tomorrow ... seriously??!?! where does the time go?

chambersburg

what an adventure, what an adventure! this past weekend, we went to chambersburg to visit some of our dearest lecom pals. von had an amazing time playing with gavin, meeting missa & phil, and staring down the furballs (aka the cats). this crew has many MANY trips & memories to be had in the future .... and you just never know when a new addition could be joining too!!

von has fallen in love with his mobile. he will lay in his crib and just coo away, sometimes even putting himself back to sleep. good investment, mommy & daddy!
