LATE BREAKING NEWS: von made his best attempt yet at crawling tonight. as we enticed him with a few toys, he went from sitting to all fours, made a valid effort to move forward, then plopped to the floor in pure exhaustion!!

holy cow, is it time to switch von to his big boy car seat already?? he looked soooo tiny in the backseat (he hung out back there while we read the manuals) and made us realize how quickly these past 8 months have gone! tear :'(
