lucky von finally met anna & mark!! he LOVED anna, probably because she just cooed over him all weekend :) he definitely liked mark too, but von's totally a ladies man and stayed close to his momma & anna for the most part - which only made for more anna/von snuggling time - something that was A-ok with both of them.
von only solidified that baby fever that's been visiting the kellers lately :)
we truly truly enjoyed our ohio visitors!!!an added bonus: we discovered he does better with a later bedtime (since he was staying up late for all of our 'partying') and even sleeps in a tad longer in the morning!
you're going to have to take our word for it, but inside that cute little mouth shown below is von's first tooth. it's been inching it's way to the surface since last week and we've been keeping a close eye on it, but grandma discovered it broke through today!
hmpf, maybe that explains his inconsolable crying before bed and as soon as he awoke this morning?? poor guy. we only have like 19 more to go!!
oh my, oh my .. look at what von can do!
i was prepping dinner the other night and heard him squealing with excitement, so i peeked around the corner to see what had him so happy, and to my surprise, he was sitting on his knees in his pack 'n play. i put him in the sitting position again and boom, he instantly reached for the side to pull himself up again. we played this game probably 5 times as i just sat there beaming with smiles :) we showed daddy when he got home from work, and then grandma the next morning. now it's all he wants to do. let the childproofing of the home begin, as our little boy is starting his journey of mobility!
auntie j got von some new jammies, and josh & i had a riot calling him 'captain awesome' all night. he even fell asleep with both arms above his head (which he really never does) so it made him look like he was flying. part of me thought he might fly over to our room when he was ready to get up this morning, hehee. now josh wants a shirt to match :)
